MOSAIC CAKE BY DAMLA FROM PAY COUNTER

The name of this cake is coming from mosaic stones. When sliced, it seems like mosaic stones. You don’t need so many ingredients for this cake, the only thing that matters about this cake is that you should wait it in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Although it’s very easy to prepare, it has a fascinating taste and it goes very well with tea or coffee.

Preparation: 25 mins

Wait in refrigerator : 2 hours

Ingredients:

SPI325 : Natco Pistachio Kernels-1xkg

DAI006 : Fresh semi skimmed milk(green cap)-1x2L

SPI211 : Tate&Lyle fairtrade Granulated sugar(single pack)-1x1kg

OIL019:Flora Margarine -1x2kg

2 dessert spoon coconut powder

100 gr cocoa

3 packs social tea biscuits, use thin ones or Turkish Ulker or Eti petit Beurre

Step 1:

Break the biscuits into small pieces and put them in a large bowl.

Step 2:

Melt butter in a pot.

Step 3:

Add sugar in pot.

Step 4:

Add milk and cocoa.

Step 5:

Stir it continually and bring it to boil.

Step 6:

Take it from fire to get cool and put biscuits in it.

Step 7:

Add pistachio and mix them to combine(shouldn’t be too hot or too cold). Wait for  5 minutes so that biscuits absorb the mixture.

Step 8:

When it gets cold enough, put this mixture in small cake pan with a spoon.

Step 9:

Wrap in aluminium foil  and put it in refrigerator and wait it for at least 2 hours.

After two hours to make more colder, you can put it freezer if you prefer.

After taking it out, remove the mosaic cake from the cake pan and garnish it with coconut.

Enjoy!!  🙂
