Chicken Manchurian with Vegetable Fried Rice & Fruity Creamy Salad by Shahzad from IT

Chicken Manchurian with vegetable fried rice is very famous and most eaten Chinese dish in sub-continent. Cooking seems to reach its heights in flavour when it’s a chicken day. Let your taste-buds go chicky with this chicken Manchurian and vegetable fried rice recipe. It always prove as a delicious meal for kids and grown up. As winter is coming, it is a perfect dish for your dining table in winter.

 Servers up to 7-8 people

JJ Ingredients

RIC036: 2 Cups of  Laila Basmati Rice-1x5kg

CHI213: 500 gram of  UK Farm Assured Halal Diced Chicken 50/50-1×2.5kg

VEG319: 1 small bowl of  Greens Frozen Petit Pois Peas (Bags)-1x1kg

SPI392: Schwartz for Chef Ground Black Pepper-1x400g as per your taste

DAI107: 3 Table spoon of KTC Pure Butter Ghee-1x2kg

Other Ingredients

Cup of white vinegar

1/2 cup of soya sauce

Salt (As per you taste)

Bell Peppers (red, orange & green)

1 medium size carrot

1 small white cabbage

3 table spoon sun flower oil

1 small bowl of sweet corn

1 small bowl of pineapple chunks

1 apple

5 table spoon of mayonnaise

3 table spoon of double cream

1 egg

Condense milk (As per your taste)

4 table spoon corn flour

2 small Onions

1 small cup Tomato Ketchup

Vegetable Fried Rice

Step 1:

Pre-soak the rice for 1 hour in warm water

Step 2:

Add a tea spoon of salt and little drops of white vinegar in enough water to cover the rice. Boil the rice for 10 minutes until the rice is soft. Once the rice are soften, drain the water.

Step 3:

Cut all vegetables in small pieces.

Step 4:

Put 3 table spoon oil in a pot and add carrot and peas. Sauté it for 5 minutes.

Step 5:

Add Salt, black pepper, vinegar, soya sauce and remaining vegetables (Red and Orange Capsicum, Cabbage). Sauté for 10 minutes.

Step 6:

Mix rice, vegetable mixture and sweet corn.

Step 7:

Cover it & put on low heat for 15 minutes. Rice is ready.

Chicken Manchurian

Step 1:

Cut chicken, Onion and green capsicum in small cubes

Step 2:

Marinate chicken with black pepper, salt, egg, soya sauce and 1 table spoon corn flour for 30 minutes

Step 3:

Put marinated chicken in heated butter ghee and cook it for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4:

Add onions & Capsicum and cook them for 5 minutes.

Step 5:

Add 2-3 cups of water and add tomato ketchup and let it cook until it start boiling.

Step 6:

Mix 3 table spoon of corn flour in water and pour it into curry. Put it on low heat for 10 minutes. Curry is ready

Fruity Creamy Salad

Step 1:

Cut apple and white cabbage in small pieces.

Step 2:

Mix mayonnaise, condense milk and cream with apple, pineapple and cabbage. Salad is ready.
